Annie Holcombe is a painter, ceramicist and textile artist based in the Southern Highlands of NSW, Australia.
Growing up on a property in Wee Waa, North-western New South Wales, it was the farm life and Australian landscape that shaped her artworks from the onset. A year spent abroad in Montepulciano, Tuscany provided further inspiration for her whimsical depictions of rural and village life which she paints in the Naïve painting style.
A highlight came in 2018 when Annie was invited to participate in the Art Naif Festival in Katowice, Poland where she exhibited with other Naïve style artists from across the globe.
Her paintings and ceramic work, along with reproductions as prints and greeting cards are sold and exhibited in galleries and shops across New South Wales. Annie’s portfolio also includes private commissions, most recently, two for children’s hospitals in Randwick and Westmead.
